How did Angels at Bat start?

Angels at Bat began by watching the 2012 Little League World Series. That year, an African nation was being represented for the first time. The team from Uganda played their season without enough equipment for each player. After seeing this, Max realized that he could send his and his peer's outgrown equipment to African teams. This idea grew and developed into what Angels at Bat is today.
